W wejherowskim muzeum otwarto wystawę na 50-lecie placówki
W Wejherowie w Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko – Pomorskiej otwarto jubileuszową wystawę. Podsumowuje ona 50 lat działania placówki przy ulicy Zamkowej.
Główne obchody rocznicy odbędą się jesienią. Tymczasem ekspozycja, której kuratorem i autorem jest Maciej Kurpiewski, ukazuje pracę ludzi i ogrom zbiorów, jakie są w posiadaniu naszego muzeum – mówił dyrektor Tomasz Fopke, który był dziś gościem naszego programu Dzień Dobry Kaszuby. Na wystawie zobaczymy także haft i ceramikę, a także starodruki związane z Wejherowem oraz założycielem miasta Jakubem Wejherem. Z okazji okrągłej rocznicy w przygotowaniu jest pierwsza, większa publikacja dotycząca historii muzeum. Muzeum w Wejherowie intensywnie zajmuje się działalnością wydawniczą – w tym roku ukazało się już 12 pozycji, w przygotowaniu są płyty zespołu Bas, Kaszubianki, a także gadek księdza Romana Skwiercza. Placówka jest też gospodarzem i organizatorem koncertów, sympozjów, ma ofertę edukacyjną.
