W Rumi przymierzają się do budowy nowej siedziby Urzędu Miasta. Radni podjęli uchwałę intencyjną na ostatniej sesji.
– Budynek jest też bardzo kosztowny w eksploatacji – mówi burmistrz Rumi Michał Pasieczny.
Ratusz z prawdziwego zdarzenia ma stanąć u zbiegu ulic Starowiejskiej i Dąbrowskiego. Obecny jest zbyt ciasny. Nowy ratusz ma być kontynuacją zmian w centrum miasta. Miesiąc temu w tej okolicy oddano do użytku deptak wzdłuż Zagórskiej Strugi, zimą odbywa się tam bożonarodzeniowy jarmark. – Samorząd chce przeprowadzić inwestycję w formule partnerstwa prywatno – publicznego i znaleźć inwestora, który wesprze przedsięwzięcie – wyjaśnia naczelnik wydziału rozwoju miasta Agnieszka Rodak. Analizy przedrealizacyjne potrwają do końca pierwszego kwartału przyszłego roku. Nowy ratusz w Rumi ma być gotowy w ciągu trzech lat.
