W lasach wciąż powstają dzikie wysypiska
W lasach wciąż powstają dzikie wysypiska, śmiecą też turyści. Nadleśnictwo Kartuzy zarezerwowało 80 tys zł na sprzątanie w tym roku. Choć tzw. ustawa śmieciowa zmieniła gospodarowanie odpadami w gminach i każdy za odbiór śmieci płaci, to nie zmieniła się jeszcze nasza mentalność.
– Najczęściej śmiecą turyści, ale nie brakuje też odpadów z budowy np. gruzu – mówi rzecznik prasowy kartuskiego nadleśnictwa Jarosław Palikowski.
Wręcz przeciwnie, bo jak wskazują leśnicy z Kartuz – śmieci w lasach jest coraz więcej. W ubiegłym roku Nadleśnictwo Kartuzy zutylizowało ponad 180 m3 odpadów, co odpowiada 46 tonom. Oprócz montowania kamer leśnicy prowadzą też akcje edukacyjne. Starają się też likwidować dzikie wysypiska na bieżąco. W tym roku na sprzątanie zarezerwowali prawie 80 tysięcy złotych, z czego jedna czwarta to wsparcie z Wojewódzkiego Funduszu Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej w Gdańsku.
