W Gdyni pytają mieszkańców gdzie powinny być zamontowane nowe mierniki powietrza. Konsultacje w tej sprawie potrwają do 28 maja. Mierników ma być 10.
– Będą uzupełnieniem dla działających w Gdyni trzech stacji Państwowego Monitoringu Środowiska – mówi Michał Guć.
Urzędnicy proponują, by osiem zamontować przy syrenach miejskiego systemu powiadamiania ratunkowego, a dwa na budynkach oświatowych w Babich Dołach i Demptowie. Zakup i montaż mierników wraz z wdrożeniem systemu zbierania i prezentacji wyników na stronie internetowej ma kosztować około 120 tys zł. O dokładność odczytów zadbali programiści spółki Excento należącej do Politechniki Gdańskiej – tłumaczył prof. Jacek Gębicki z Politechniki Gdańskiej. Mapę z propozycją lokalizacji mierników jakości powietrza opublikowano na stronie gdynia.pl.
