W Gdyni powstaje jedna z najnowocześniejszych szkół na świecie
Miasto podpisało umowę z Microsoft. Szkoła stawia na rozwój cyfrowej transformacji edukacji. 17. Liceum Ogólnokształcące w Gdyni jest pierwszym w Polsce, które przystępuje do programu Flagship School.
– Dzisiaj nie mamy wątpliwości, że partnerem wiodącym w obszarze wyznaczania dobrych kierunków jest firma Microsoft – mówi Bartosz Bartoszewicz, wiceprezydent Gdyni.
W ramach programu szkoła uzyska bezpłatne wsparcie merytoryczne przede wszystkim w zakresie wyposażenia i urządzenia wnętrz. – Program Microsoft Flagship School jest programem prestiżowym i ekskluzywnym – mówi Cecylia Szymańska, dyrektor do spraw Edukacji Microsoft Polska. Gdyńskie liceum zostanie przeniesione z ulicy 10 Lutego w okolicę ulic Filipkowskiego i Wiczlińskiej. Powstający budynek 17. Liceum w Gdyni ma pomieścić 700 uczniów. Obok powstaje również przedszkole i hala sportowa. Uczniowie przeniosą się do nowej siedziby we wrześniu 2019 roku. Koszt budowy nowej szkoły to 70 milionów złotych.
