W Dziemianach rekultywują dawne składowisko odpadów
Po wielu latach starań, władzom Dziemian udało się pozyskać dofinansowanie na rekultywację dawnego składowiska odpadów. Pół miliona złotych na ten cel przekaże Narodowy Fundusz Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej.
– Przełom nastąpił gdy w ubiegłym roku zmieniły się zasady udzielania dotacji na ten cel, co pomogło nam pozyskać środki – tłumaczy wójt gminy Dziemiany Leszek Pobłocki.
Składowisko znajduje się w lesie niedaleko wsi, na obszarze 1,5 ha. Śmieci trafiały tam od 1993 roku. Po zamknięciu wysypiska było kilkanaście pomysłów na jego rekultywację, jednak żaden nie doszedł do skutku. Przetarg na rekultywację ma być ogłoszony jeszcze w tym miesiącu. Na miejscu składowiska w Dziemianach mają powstać tereny zielone.
