W Chmielnie rozpoczęło się III Forum Drobiarskie
Bierze w nim udział prawie 200 hodowców z całej Polski. W programie zaplanowano między innymi wykłady z naukowcami i genetykami dotyczące najnowszych rozwiązań w hodowli drobiu.
Polska jest liderem Europy w tej produkcji. Tylko w pierwszym kwartale tego roku wytworzono ponad 500 tysięcy ton mięsa drobiowego. To o 10 proc. więcej niż rok wcześniej o analogicznym czasie. Na Kaszubach prawdziwym zagłębiem drobiarskim jest powiat kartuski, gdzie zarejestrowanych jest ponad 160 ferm drobiu. O problemach i sukcesach branży z uczestnikami Forum rozmawiał Piotr Szyca.
