Uwaga piesi! Przypominamy o obowiązku noszenia odblasków
Od ponad roku wszyscy piesi – niezależnie od wieku, mają obowiązek noszenia elementów odblaskowych. Za ich brak grozi mandat od 20 do nawet 500 złotych. Teraz gdy zmieniła się pogoda, coraz szybciej jest ciemno a widoczność jest słaba – policjanci wystawiają więcej mandatów.
Człowiek ubrany w ciemny strój jest widoczny po zmroku z odległości około 40 metrów, ale po założeniu elementów odblaskowych ten dystans wydłuża się niemal czterokrotnie, dzięki czemu kierujący pojazdem ma więcej czasu na odpowiednią reakcję – mówi rzecznik prasowy kartuskiej policji, Jarosława Krefta. Pieszy może się poruszać bez elementów odblaskowych po zmierzchu jedynie po chodniku lub w strefie zamieszkałej, gdzie pieszy ma pierwszeństwo przed pojazdem.
