5 grudnia 18 studentów zainauguruje studia na etnofilologii kaszubskiej
Z liczbą 18 studentów na listach zakończyła się 6 listopada dodatkowa rekrutacja na etnofilologię kaszubską. Na pierwszym w historii kierunku kaszubskim na Uniwersytecie Gdańskim kształcą się przyszli nauczyciele, dziennikarze i animatorzy naszej kultury. Z danych Uniwersytetu wynika, że oprócz tegorocznych maturzystów na etnofilologii studiują trzy osoby w wieku 40 plus a także 5 osób, które kaszubski wybrało jako drugi kierunek studiów. Będą się uczyć przede wszystkim praktycznej nauki języka kaszubskiego, a także wiedzy o literaturze, historii i geografii Kaszub. – Zainteresowanie kierunkiem od początku nie było zbyt duże – przyznaje opiekunka roku dr Justyna Pomierska. Stąd wyjątkowa długa rekrutacja. Zajęcia na etnofilologii trwają od 1 października. Oficjalną inaugurację zaplanowano jednak na 5 grudnia. Wtedy studenci spotkają się z władzami uczelni a także zewnętrznymi interesariuszami, czyli podmiotami gdzie będą odbywać praktyki. To między innymi Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko-Pomorskiej z Wejherowa, Kaszubski Uniwersytet Ludowy z Wieżycy i Radio Kaszëbë.
