Budowa ronda na skrzyżowaniu dróg Linia-Smażyno-Luzino-Łebno ma zostać ukończone jeszcze w lipcu.
– Nie ma wątpliwości, że to rozwiązanie wpłynie znacząco na bezpieczeństwo użytkowników dróg. – mówi wójt gminy Linia – Bogusława Engelbrecht.
W inwestycję zaangażowane zostały pieniądze samorządowe oraz środki z rządowego programu przebudowy dróg lokalnych. Co ciekawe, już teraz wiadomo, jaką nazwę otrzyma nowe rondo. Padło wiele propozycji, wśród nich rondo kaszubskie, gryfa pomorskiego czy św. Krzysztofa – patrona kierowców. Radni gminy Linia większością głosów zadecydowali ostatecznie, że rondo będzie nosiło imię historyka, profesora Gerarda Labudy. Zgodnie z planem rondo ma zostać ukończone do końca lipca.
