Trudno wskazać jedną przyczynę słabej kondycji dorsza
Wydajności połowowe dorsza na Zatoce Gdańskiej w ciągu ostatnich lat dramatycznie spadły. Przyczynę pogarszającej się kondycji tej ryby trudno wskazać.
– Na to, że dorsze w Bałtyku są coraz mniejsze i chudsze może mieć wpływ wiele czynników – mówiła dziś w audycji Dzień Dobry Kaszuby Iwona Psuty z Morskiego Instytutu Rybackiego.
Naukowcy z Gdyni nie zgadzają się przy tym z postulatami rybaków, że problemem są zbytnie połowy szprota – a jest nim wyławianie go tam, gdzie jest dużo dorsza. Kondycja dorsza zmniejsza się już gdy ryby są bardzo małe i jeszcze nie żywią się szprotem – wskazywała profesor Iwona Psuty. Dodała, że trzeba wziąć pod uwagę także inne czynniki. Źródłem tego problemu w Zatoce Gdańskiej i Puckiej może być rosnąca populacja fok, które są nosicielami pasożytów.
