Tomasz Płotka zwycięzcą Olimpiady Młodych Producentów Rolnych
Tomasz Płotka z Puzdrowa k. Sierakowic zwycięzcą powiatowej Olimpiady Młodych Producentów Rolnych w Kartuzach. Uczestnicy musieli wykazać się wiedzą z zakresu produkcji roślinnej i zwierzęcej, ekonomiki oraz programów unijnych.
W Kartuzach do konkursu przystąpiło 27 młodych rolników w wieku 17 – 40 lat. Konkurs podzielono na dwa etapy – pisemny i ustny. Większość przyznaje, że nie przygotowuje się do konkursu, bo wiedzę z zakresu rolnictwa musi posiadać na co dzień. Zauważamy coraz wyższy poziom wiedzy wśród młodych rolników – dodaje dyrektor Powiatowego Zespołu Doradztwa Rolniczego w Kartuzach, Regina Kleina. To cieszy, ponieważ w rolnictwie przybywa ”papierkowej roboty” i nowych wytycznych. Powiatowy etap Olimpiady Młodych Producentów Rolnych odbył się jednocześnie w 16 pomorskich miastach. Najlepsi zmierzą się 12 grudnia w finale wojewódzkim. W powiecie kartuskim oprócz Tomasza Płotki, na finał pojadą też: Artur Tusk z Rzepisk, Marcin Zelewski z Sierakowic i Michał Jank z Klukowej Huty
