System monitoringu dla rolników chce stworzyć PODR
System monitoringu agrometeorologicznego chce stworzyć dla rolników Pomorski Ośrodek Doradztwa Rolniczego. Łącznie ma powstać 14 stacji pogodowych, dzięki którym rolnicy będą mogli skuteczniej stosować środki ochrony roślin.
– Na terenie naszego województwa ma powstać jeszcze 10 podobnych stacji, a docelowo każdy rolnik będzie mógł za pomocą maila bądź smsa otrzymać odpowiednie informacje – mówi specjalista z Pomorskiego Ośrodka Doradztwa Rolniczego Grzegorz Manowski.
Od jesieni ubiegłego roku w powiatach malborskim, kościerskim, człuchowskim i słupskim już działają 4 stacje, które zbierają dane o temperaturze, opadach i sile wiatru. Na ich podstawie Ośrodek Doradztwa Rolniczego może wyliczyć optymalny czas zastosowania chemicznych zabiegów przeciwdziałających chorobom zbóż i ziemniaków. Do tego też zobowiązują rolników unijne przepisy, które nakazują zmniejszanie używania środków ochrony roślin, a także ewidencjonowanie tych zabiegów. Podobne stacje działają już między innymi w Wielkopolsce.
