Straże miejskie i gminne dbają o idące do szkoły dzieci
Od Helu, przez Puck, Trójmiasto aż po Chojnice – strażnicy gminni i miejscy zmobilizowali siły na rozpoczęcie roku szkolnego. 22 straże przystąpiły do 2 edycji akcji „Bezpieczna droga do szkoły”.
– Akcję zaczynamy na długo przed pierwszym dzwonkiem, najbardziej newralgiczne punkty sprawdzamy od połowy sierpnia – mówi komendant straży miejskiej z Rumi Roman Świrski.
Zainicjowali ją mundurowi z Rumi, jej celem jest zabezpieczenie przejść dla pieszych przy placówkach oświatowych oraz edukacja – tak dzieci jak i kierowców. W sumie w województwie pomorskim strażnicy przeprowadzili 378 kontroli w rejonie 259 placówek oświatowych. Teraz patrolują okolice szkół i przedszkoli zwracając uwagę na prawidłowe parkowanie i przestrzeganie przepisów kodeksu drogowego. Równolegle strażnicy będą odwiedzać pomorskie szkoły i przedszkola by uczyć najmłodszych zasad bezpiecznego poruszania się w ruchu drogowym. Akcja “Bezpieczne przejście do szkoły” potrwa do 15 września.
