Stan kąpielisk poprawia się, ale ich liczba maleje
Stan kąpielisk i miejsc wykorzystywanych do kąpieli w Polsce poprawia się, choć ich liczba maleje – wynika z najnowszego raportu Najwyższej Izby Kontroli. Przez ostatnie 2 lata na Pomorzu ubyło 30 proc. miejsc wykorzystywanych do kąpieli.
Powodem są wysokie koszty utrzymania związane z koniecznością zapewnienia ratowników oraz sprzętu ratowniczego i medycznego. W tym roku na Pomorzu funkcjonuje 66 kąpielisk i 93 miejsca wykorzystywane do kąpieli. Spośród nich NIK skontrolowała Słupsk i Sopot oraz 10 innych samorządów w Polsce. W większości z nich władze zapewniły bezpieczeństwo osobom wypoczywających nad wodą: zatrudniono ratowników, ustawiono tablice informacyjne i zapewniono sprzęt ratunkowy i medyczny. Zdaniem Najwyższej Izby Kontroli z roku na rok poprawia się też jakość wody w badanych kąpieliskach i miejscach wykorzystywanych do kąpieli. Świadczy o tym chociażby wzrost z 21 do 29 liczby miejsc w Polsce wyróżnionych Błękitną Flagą. Jednocześnie kontrola NIK wykazała nieprawidłowości w zakresie nadzoru nad jakością wody. W niektórych gminach w kilku miejscach wykorzystywanych do kąpieli w ogóle nie badano jakości wody, a w innych gminach liczba badań była mniejsza niż wymagana przepisami.
W wyniku przeprowadzonej kontroli Izba wystosowała wnioski do powiatowych inspektorów sanitarnych o skuteczne egzekwowanie od organizatorów listy kąpielisk i miejsc wykorzystywanych do kąpieli, przestrzegania 5 obowiązkowych badań wody a także rzetelnego opiniowania uchwał gmin w sprawie wykazu kąpielisk.
