Sezon grzewczy trwa. Uwaga na czad!
Przygotujmy się dobrze do sezonu grzewczego – apelują strażacy, by ostrzec przed pożarami i zatruciami tlenkiem węgla. Jesień i zima to jeden z najbardziej pracowitych okresów dla strażaków, bo ludziom często brakuje rozsądku i wyobraźni.
– Do tego zapominamy o czyszczeniu kominów i sprawdzeniu instalacji grzewczych – mówi komendant Straży Pożarnej w Kościerzynie Tomasz Klinkosz.
Podstawowym błędem jest między innymi zbytnie uszczelnianie okien, drzwi, a nawet kratek wentylacyjnych. Każdego roku w państwie polskim z powodu zatrucia czadem, umiera kilkadziesiąt osób, a kilka razy więcej ulega zatruciu i trafia do szpitali. W ubiegły sezonie grzewczym strażacy odnotowali prawie 4 tysiące zdarzeń związanych z tlenkiem węgla.
