Samorządy zyskają narzędzia do walki z dymem
Posłowie chcą dać samorządom nowe narzędzia w działaniach dla ochrony powietrza. Według przyjętych dzisiaj w Sejmie poprawek sejmik województwa będzie mógł wprowadzać tak zwane „strefy obszarowe”, gdzie określi jakość używanego do ogrzewania paliwa oraz normy dla wykorzystywanych do tego pieców.

Według danych Polskiego Alarmu Smogowego w Polsce każdego roku z powodu zanieczyszczenia powietrza przedwcześnie umiera 45 000 osób, czyli ponad 10 razy więcej niż w wypadkach drogowych.
