Samorządy ziemi wejherowskiej będą walczyć z wirusem HCV
Samorządy ziemi wejherowskiej przymierzają się do walki z wirusem HCV – uruchomienie pilotażowego programu profilaktycznego było głównym tematem wczorajszego, trzeciego konwentu wójtów, burmistrzów i starosty powiatu.
– Wstępny projekt wejherowski starosta Gabriela Lisius chce przedstawić radzie powiatu już w listopadzie – dodaje wójt gminy Choczewo Wiesław Gębka.
Wirusowe zapalenie wątroby to dzisiaj jedno z najpoważniejszych zagrożeń epidemiologicznych, w powiecie wejherowskim zarażonych jest około 5 tysięcy osób. Problemowi miałby zaradzić program badań przesiewowych połączony z działaniami edukacyjnymi. To propozycja, jaką samorządowcom przedstawiła powiatowy inspektor SANEPiD Ewa Banasik. Podobne działania są realizowane w kraju od kilku lat, w powiecie wejherowskim byłaby to nowość. Program byłby dla mieszkańców powiatu nieodpłatny, a jego realizacja trwałaby minimum dwa lata. Samorządy chcą się tym zająć. Dla każdego z wejherowskich samorządów realizacja programu to koszt rzędu kilkunastu do 50 tysięcy złotych. (Foto: Powiat Wejherowski)
