Okręgowa Komisja Egzaminacyjna w Gdańsku podała wstępne wyniki tegorocznych matur. Co piąty maturzysta oblał egzamin. Najwięcej problemów przysporzyła matematyka.
Do matury na Pomorzu przystąpiło w tym roku 14 tysięcy 803 absolwentów szkół ponadgimnazjalnych. Egzamin zdało ponad 77 procent z nich. Lepiej poradzili sobie absolwenci liceów niż techników. Zdawalność egzaminu na poziomie podstawowym z języka polskiego oraz języka angielskiego wyniosła 96 procent, gorzej wypadła matematyka, którą zaliczyło 81 procent zdających. Województwo pomorskie na tle całego kraju wypadło słabo. Razem z: dolnośląskim, warmińsko-mazurskim i zachodniopomorskim zajmujemy ostatnie miejsce.
Egzaminy poprawkowe odbędą się w sierpniu, a pełne wyniki tegorocznego egzaminu maturalnego, uwzględniające również wyniki zdających w czerwcu i sierpniu, zostaną opublikowane 11 września.
