Pojawiają się już pierwsze kaszubskie truskawki
Nie dajmy się zmylić – apelują plantatorzy z Kaszub. Truskawki, które na razie możemy kupić w sklepach czy przy drogach pochodzą z centralnej Polski. Te kaszubskie dopiero się pojawiają.
– Prognozy pogody napawają optymizmem, a mrozy i klęski żywiołowe oszczędziły plantacje – mówi plantator z gminy Chmielno Jerzy Hinca.
Za kilogram zapłacimy od 5 do 8 złotych. Plantatorzy mają nadzieję, że tegoroczny sezon będzie wyjątkowo udany. Truskawka kaszubska od 2009 roku wpisana jest do europejskiego systemu nazw i oznaczeń geograficznych. Uprawiana jest głównie w okolicach Kartuz i Bytowa oraz niektórych gminach powiatu wejherowskiego, gdańskiego i lęborskiego.Według ekspertów jest bardziej aromatyczna i słodsza niż truskawki uprawiane w innych regionach Polski.
