Rekrutacja na etnofilologię kaszubską do 11 IX
Etnofilologia kaszubska może nie zostać w tym roku otwarta. Choć rekrutacja na Uniwersytecie Gdańskim potrwa do września, brakuje chętnych do nauki na pierwszym kierunku studiów poświęconym Kaszubom. – Nie wolno nam odpuścić tej sprawy, musimy zastanowić się nad ofertą dla studentów – komentują kaszubscy działacze.
Stowarzyszenie Kaszebskô Jednota wskazuje, że brak przede wszystkim pracy z uczniami i ich rodzicami – uświadomienia, czym jest etnofilologia, co oferuje absolwentom, jaki start na rynku pracy zapewnia. Działacze Jednoty opracowują więc plan spotkań z mieszkańcami Kaszub, jakie miałyby się odbywać przed przyszłorocznym naborem na studia. Z kolei Zrzeszenie Kaszubsko-Pomorskie wskazuje na brak zabezpieczenia finansowego tego kierunku – innymi słowy, jeśli nie będzie odpowiedniej liczby kandydatów, nie będzie środków na etnofilologię – dodaje prezes Grzędzicki.
W Komisji Wspólnej Rządu i Mniejszości Narodowych i Etnicznych toczy się dyskusja nad nowelizacją ustawy o szkolnictwie wyższym – o wprowadzeniu przepisów finansujących tak unikatowe jak etnofilologia kierunki. Pod względem wykształcenia Kaszubi w Polsce są lepsi tylko od mniejszości romskiej – jedynie pięć procent Kaszubów ma wykształcenie wyższe. Rekrutacja na etnofilologię potrwa na Uniwersytecie Gdańskim do 11 września.
