Rekordowy przemyt na morskiej granicy
Rekordowy przemyt papierosów udaremnili funkcjonariusze pomorskiej Służby Celnej i policjanci CBŚP. Zabezpieczyli 26 milionów papierosów w trzech kontenerach, które przypłynęły statkiem z Malezji.
To wynik ścisłej współpracy funkcjonariuszy z brytyjska służbą centralno – skarbową. Importerem szklanych butelek, które miały rzekomo znajdować się w kontenerach, była polska firma z województwa dolnośląskiego. Organizatorem procederu okazał się 37-letni Marcin B., który w Prokuraturze Okręgowej w Gdańsku usłyszał zarzuty wprowadzenia w błąd urzędu celnego i niedopełnienia obowiązków celnych. Miejscowy sąd zdecydował o tymczasowym areszcie na 3 miesiące. Jak informuje Izba Celna w Gdyni straty Skarbu Państwa i budżetu Unii Europejskiej mogły przekroczyć 28 i pół mln złotych, z czego sama akcyza to ponad 21 i pół mln, cło to ponad milion. Uszczuplenie z tytułu podatku VAT – ponad 5 mln 700 tys. złotych. Sprawa ma charakter rozwojowy.
