Święto przypada w drugą sobotę września i ma przypominać jak ważna jest to umiejętność. Szybkie udzielenie pierwszej pomocy często znacznie zwiększa szanse na przeżycie – m.in. osób u których doszło do nagłego zatrzymania krążenia. Czy wiemy jak zachować się w takiej sytuacji? Zgodnie z polskim prawem udzielenie pomocy w nagłych wypadkach jest naszym obowiązkiem. Jeśli widzimy osobę potrzebującą pomocy, pierwszym krokiem jest zadzwonienie pod numer alarmowy 112.
