Przed nieuczciwymi firmami konsultingowo – doradczymi przestrzega Pomorska Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego. Chodzi o podmioty, które powołując się na tę agencję pobierają opłaty m.in. za informacje o realizowanych przez nią projektach lub dotyczące funduszy europejskich.
Pomorska Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego zaznacza, że nie pobiera opłat za udostępnianie materiałów informacyjno-promocyjnych o unijnym wsparciu. Jej pracownicy nie kontaktują się z przedsiębiorcami by oferować odpłatne usługi dotyczącej m.in. pisania projektów o dofinansowanie. Materiały informacyjne przesyłane przez nieuczciwe firmy konsultingowe i doradcze są bezpłatne i ogólnodostępne. Można je znaleźć m.in. na stronach internetowych pomorskiego Urzędu Marszałkowskiego oraz innych instytucji odpowiedzialnych za udostępnienie informacji o Funduszach Europejskich.
