Potrzebny genetyczny bliźniak dla 24-latka z Rumi
By pomóc można się zapisywać do bazy dawców szpiku DKMS – przez internet bądź podczas akcji w drugi weekend stycznia. Pomocy potrzebuje Damian Bojar z Rumi – student i miłośnik sportu.
Jego życie zmieniło się w październiku ubiegłego roku, gdy okazało się że cierpi na anemię aplastyczną i żadne leki nie są w stanie mu pomóc. Jedyną szansą na wyzdrowienie jest przeszczep szpiku. W pomoc dla 24-latka włącza się społeczność Rumi i miejski samorząd. W drugi weekend stycznia organizowana jest akcja rejestracji do bazy dawców szpiku. Rozpocznie się ona w sobotę 12 stycznia w Centrum Handlowym Port Rumia – w godzinach 13:00 – 18:00. W niedzielę 13 stycznia od rana specjaliści z DKMS będą czekać w Zespole Szkół Ogólnokształcących w Rumi, rejestracja będzie połączona z akcją honorowego krwiodawstwa. Po południu natomiast dopisać się do bazy będzie można w Miejskim Ośrodku Sportu i Rekreacji w Rumi.
Pomóc można również zachęcając bliskich i znajomych do zdalnej rejestracji na internetowej stronie www.dkms.pl.
