Posłowie odbierają strażnikom prawo do kontroli fotoradarowej
Posłowie odbierają strażnikom gminnym i miejskim prawo do kontroli fotoradarowej. Odpowiednie ustawy przyjęto na ostatnim posiedzeniu sejmu. W nowelizacji zmieniono też zasady naliczania mandatów i wprowadzono nowe ograniczenia prędkości.
Zgodnie z nowelizacją od nowego roku prawo do dysponowania fotoradarami stacjonarnymi będzie miała jedynie Inspekcja Transportu Drogowego, a fotoradarami mobilnymi – jedynie policja. Jeśli przekroczymy prędkość i zarejestruje nas fotoradar – mandat zapłaci właściciel auta, a nie jak dotychczas osoba, która kierowała pojazdem. W ocenie posłów, dzięki temu kierowcy nie będą unikali już płacenia mandatów. W nowelizacji zmieniono też zasady ograniczenia prędkości w terenie zabudowanym. Od nowego roku zarówno w dzień, jak i w nocy ma być to 50 km/h. Posłowie ustalili też nowe zasady naliczania mandatów.
Będą one powiązane z ogłaszanym przez GUS przeciętnym wynagrodzeniem w gospodarce narodowej za poprzedni rok, które niedawno wynosiło 3,8 tys. zł brutto. W przypadku przekroczenia dozwolonej prędkości do 10 km/godz. mandatu nie będzie. Przy przekroczeniu prędkości od 11 do 20 km/godz. będzie to 3 proc. średniej pensji a od 21 do 30 km/godz. – 5 proc. Jeśli prędkość zostanie przekroczona o ponad 50 km/godz., to mandat będzie wynosił 20 proc. średniego wynagrodzenia, czyli ok. 760 zł. Wysokości mandatów podwyższono na wielokrotne apele policjantów. W 2014 r. na drogach w Polsce doszło do prawie 35 tys. wypadków, w których zginęły 3 202 osoby, a ponad 42 tys. zostało rannych. Nowe zasady drogowe mają wejść w życie od 1 stycznia 2016 roku.
