Politechnika Gdańska najpopularniejszą uczelnią w Polsce
Znalazła się na pierwszej pozycji w rankingu uczelni najczęściej wybieranych przez kandydatów na studia opracowanym przez Ministerstwo Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego.
O jedno miejsce na Politechnice Gdańskiej ubiegało się 9,3 osoby. W pierwszej trójce uplasowały się także Politechnika Warszawska oraz Politechnika Poznańska. W poprzedniej edycji rankingu obie wyprzedziły gdańską uczelnię, jednak tym razem musiały ustąpić jej pola. Podczas tegorocznej rekrutacji Politechnika Gdańska przyjęła na studia stacjonarne pierwszego stopnia prawie 3 i pół tysiąca osób, z których panie stanowią niemal połowę. Wśród nowych studentów znalazło się 21 laureatów olimpiad. Studia stacjonarne drugiego stopnia rozpoczęło ponad 200 osób, w większości kobiet. Najpopularniejszym kierunkiem, podobnie jak w skali całego kraju, była informatyka.
