Tematem przewodnim spotkań jest los osób, które zostały zmuszone do opuszczenia własnej ojczyzny, będą się odbywały co miesiąc. Jako pierwszy o swojej książce „Zielone Migdały, czyli po co światu Kurdowie?” opowiedział Paweł Smoleński, reporter i publicysta. Opisuje iracki Kurdystan i mieszkających w nim Kurdów, naród doświadczony ludobójstwem – ale i otwarty, wyznający Islam – ale nie fanatyczny. Jego historię opowiada przez pryzmat zwykłych osób.
