Pasjonaci z Jastarni wskrzeszają pamięć o pomerankach
Jeszcze sto lat temu po Zatoce Gdańskiej pływały ich dziesiątki. Rybacy łowili na nich ryby i transportowali je na fishmarkt do Gdańska. Teraz jest ich zaledwie kilka ale też popłynęły na rybny rynek – dzięki pasjonatom z Półwyspu Helskiego, którzy chcą drewniane, otwarte łodzie ocalić od zapomnienia. Członkowie Stowarzyszenia „Pomerank” swoje wyprawy relacjonowali w Gdańsku w „Kinie pod żaglami” – gdzie rozmawiał z nimi Marcin Szczepański.
Burmistrz Jastarni Tryberiusz Narkowicz i prezes Stowarzyszenia „Pomeranki” Mieczysław Konkol opowiadali o swojej pasji do tradycyjnego żeglarstwa.
Członkowie Stowarzyszenia „Pomerank” odtwarzają tradycje żeglarskie kaszubskich rybaków. Pasjonaci rekonstruują także stare drewniane łodzie rybackie, starając się ocalić je od zapomnienia. Marcin Szczepański miał okazję porozmawiać z Piotrem Strukiem – jednym z ostatnich szkutników, który wie, jak się pomeranki buduje. Piotr Struk ze Stowarzyszenia „Pomerank” opowiadał o tajnikach budowy tradycyjnych drewnianych łodzi. Jak się pływa na takiej łodzi chętni mogą dowiedzieć się już niedługo. Najbliższa okazja nadarzy się drugiego maja, w długi weekend w Jastarni podczas festynu „Jastarnia przóde lat”.
