Państwo Stenzel z Pępowa dotarli do finału konkursu Farmer roku
Gospodarze z Pępowa – Maria i Marian Stenzel – finalistami ogólnopolskiego konkursu Farmer Roku 2018. O prestiżowy tytuł starało się 308 rolników z całego kraju, otrzymało go 10 z nich.
Oceniani byli przede wszystkim za efektywność gospodarowania mierzoną wydajnością i uzyskiwanymi plonami. Państwo Stenzel znaleźli się wśród 28 finalistów. Gospodarowanie w Pępowie w gminie Żukowo zaczynali skromnie ponad ćwierć wieku temu. Teraz mają jedno z największych gospodarstw specjalizacji produkcji warzywniczej na Kaszubach. Zajmują się również produkcją zbóż, których siew jest niezbędny do przygotowania gleby pod warzywa. W sumie uprawiają 350 ha. Gospodarze z Pępowa mogą spróbować szczęścia w kolejnej edycji Ogólnopolskiego Konkursu ROLNIK-FARMER ROKU 2019. Nabór już się rozpoczął, a rozstrzygnięcie zaplanowano w lutym przyszłego roku.
