Onkologia i Radioterapia Szpitala Morskiego w Gdyni po remoncie
Pacjenci onkologiczni gdyńskiego szpitala PCK w Redłowie będą leczeni w nowoczesnych warunkach. Oddział Onkologii i Radioterapii przeszedł gruntowny remont – między innymi przebudowano pomieszczenia, założono nowe instalacje sanitarne i elektryczne.
Inwestycja warta 8 mln 700 tysięcy złotych, w większości została sfinansowana ze środków samorządu województwa pomorskiego. – To niezmiernie ważne, że udało się wykonać tak potrzebny dla pacjentów onkologicznych remont – mówi Mieczysław Struk, marszałek województwa pomorskiego. Dotychczas pacjenci korzystający z chemioterapii dziennej musieli przebywać w baraku – w małych pomieszczeniach, które nie pozwalały na intymność i godne warunki leczenia. W nowo wyremontowanym oddziale funkcjonują trzy jednostki – Chemioterapia Jednego Dnia, Radioterapia oraz Oddział Onkologii Klinicznej. Wszystko jest w jednym miejscu, co ułatwia pacjentom pobyt. Osoby korzystające z chemioterapii mają do dyspozycji 20 stanowisk, a na oddziale Radioterapii i Onkologii Klinicznej są teraz 84 łóżka. W ramach projektu zakupiono również m.in.: pompy do cytostatyków, aparat EKG, pulsoksymetr przenośny, sprzęt komputerowy oraz wózki inwalidzkie.
