Nie chłodźmy się podczas upałów w miejskich fontannach. To może powodować choroby przewodu pokarmowego, skóry i oczu – apeluje Wojewódzki Inspektorat Sanitarny w Gdańsku.
– W wodzie w fontannach namnażają się drobnoustroje, bakterie salmonelli, grzybów, jak i jaja pasożytów odzwierzęcych – tłumaczy inspektor sanitarny z Kościerzyny Grażyna Greinke.
Znajdująca się w fontannach woda krąży w systemie zamkniętym i nie jest wymieniana przez nawet kilka tygodni. Kąpiel w takim miejscu może powodować zagrożenie epidemiczne i ryzyko zachorowań głównie u małych dzieci.
Za kąpiel w fontannie można zapłacić nawet mandat do 250 złotych. Ale jeszcze ważniejsze powinno być nasze zdrowie. Dzisiaj i jutro synoptycy zapowiadają rekordowe upały – nawet do 35 stopni Celsjusza. Główny Inspektorat Sanitarny przypomina również, że podczas upałów nasila się ryzyko udaru cieplnego i przegrzania organizmu. W tym czasie należy chronić przed słońcem dzieci, osoby starsze i chore.
