Na Kaszubach przebywa teraz kilkudziesięciu młodych z europejskich mniejszości – dwoje z nich na Diversity Festival dotarło z Holandii na rowerach. Mowa o Fryzach, którzy postanowili połączyć udział w warsztatach i manifestowaniu swojej odrębności z wyprawą turystyczną.
Pomysł wynika z naszej pasji i chęci głębszego poznania narodu, u którego gościmy – opowiada Ydwine, Fryzyjka, która przebyła drogę z Holandii na rowerze. Fryzowie przyglądali się nie tylko krajobrazom i zabytkom, ale także dwujęzycznym tablicom przy wjazdach do kaszubskich miejscowości. Zauważyli pewne podobieństwo – W Holandii także nie wszędzie można się spotkać z nazwą w ich języku ojczystym, z drugiej strony nie spotkali się z tablicami, na których kaszubska nazwa górowałaby nad polską, tak jak to jest w ich kraju ojczystym. Fryzowie będą jutro wśród uczestników finału Diverstity Festiwal i akcji zbierania podpisów pod inicjatywą obywatelską Minority SafePack – w Helu na Bulwarze Nadmorskim w godzinach 14:00 – 19:00.
