Mniej wypadków drogowych i przestępstw w powiecie kościerskim
Mieszkańcy powiatu kościerskiego mogą czuć się coraz bezpieczniej. Z danych policji i prokuratury wynika, że spada tam liczba przestępstw oraz wypadków drogowych.
– Wzrost interwencji policjanci odnotowali jedynie w kategorii przestępstw narkotykowych – mówi zastępca komendanta policji w Kościerzynie podinspektor Tomasz Radomski.
W ubiegłym roku na terenie powiatu doszło do 146 wypadków, w których zginęły 4 osoby a 206 zostało rannych. Policjanci zatrzymali 98 nietrzeźwych kierujących – o ponad 20. mniej niż przed rokiem. Zmniejszyła się również liczba przestępstw kryminalnych.
W ubiegłym roku kościerska prokuratura prowadziła 11 spraw dotyczących rozbojów i 13 spraw o przestępstwa na tle seksualnym – podkreślała Agnieszka Respondek, prokurator rejonowy w Kościerzynie. Dane służb przedstawiono wczoraj na sesji kościerskiej Rady Miasta, podczas corocznej debaty o bezpieczeństwie.
