Smutek, niezrozumienie, ale też nadzieję na pokojową przyszłość – wyrażali uczestnicy warsztatów malarskich w Lasach Piaśnickich.
Plener zorganizowano w ramach oryginalnego projektu pod nazwą „Piaśnica – kultura miejsca” prowadzonego przez Fundację Sedlaka. W jego ramach, w tym roku na Kaszubach odbywa się ponad 40 wydarzeń kulturalno-edukacyjnych, które łączą historię, kulturę, malarstwo, muzykę oraz literaturę, film i teatr. W ostatnich zajęciach malarskich udział wzięła młodzież ze szkół z gminy Wejherowo, która pod kierunkiem profesjonalistów tworzyła obrazy poświęcone historii Zbrodni Piaśnickiej. W ramach projektu jeszcze we wrześniu w Wejherowskim Centrum Kultury odbędą się warsztaty historyczne prowadzone przez Elżbietę Grot z Muzeum Stutthof. Na początku października podczas głównych obchodów piaśnickich, zaplanowano również wystawę zdjęć w Krokowej, warsztaty muzyczne w Wejherowie oraz warsztaty literackie w Gdańsku.
