Masz prawo zrobić zdjęcie w sklepie i porównać ceny – przypomina klientom UOKiK. Prosi też przedsiębiorców o wyjaśnienia w tej sprawie.
Urząd Ochrony Konkurencji i Konsumentów wystąpił pod koniec stycznia do Polskiej Organizacji Handlu i Dystrybucji, zrzeszającej 14 firm prowadzących sieci handlowe m.in. jak Auchan, Tesco, Biedronkę, Żabkę i Castoramę. Wysłał też pisma do 11 innych przedsiębiorców, m.in. prowadzących sklepy Lewiatan, Rossmann i Top Market. Urząd ostrzega w nich, że zakaz fotografowania czy skanowania utrudnia konsumentom porównywanie cen. Zakaz fotografowania cen czy skanowania telefonem kodów kreskowych może być uznany za nieuczciwą praktykę rynkową naruszającą zbiorowe interesy konsumentów. A za to grozi kara pieniężna do 10 proc. obrotu osiągniętego przez firmę w poprzednim roku.
