Lipuskie lasy można obejrzeć na spacerze z leśnikami
Jak wygląda praca leśników na terenach ponawałnicowych? O tym będzie można się przekonać w najbliższą sobotę podczas Rajdu Pieszego z Nadleśnictwem Lipusz. Spacer będzie okazją do obejrzenia krajobrazów zniszczonych ubiegłoroczną wichurą oraz poznania procesu ich sprzątania i odnawiania.
– W Nadleśnictwie Lipusz zniknęła ponad połowa lasu – mówi Anna Kukier, rzecznik Nadleśnictwa.
Nawałnica z 11 sierpnia zniszczyła ponad 8 mln metrów sześciennych drzew, czyli tyle ile leśnicy w normalnych warunkach pozyskiwaliby przez 25 lat. Była to największa katastrofa w ponad 90-letniej historii Lasów Państwowych.
Zainteresowani udziałem w Rajdzie powinni zgłosić się telefonicznie bądź mailowo w Nadleśnictwie Lipusz. Na chętnych do spaceru leśnicy będą czekać w sobotę od godziny 10:00 przy leśniczówce w Zdunowicach. Przygotowano trzy trasy uzależnione od możliwości uczestników: do 5, 10 bądź 15 kilometrów.
