Leczenie na odległość testują w szpitalu w Gdyni
Zdalne konsultacje pacjentów z lekarzami testują w Gdyni w Szpitalu Morskim im. PCK. Spółka Szpitale Pomorskie jako pierwsza w województwie włączyła się w pilotażowy program iWound. To telemedyczny system stworzony do wsparcia procesu leczenia ran.
Można przesłać zdjęcie, zadać pytanie, otrzymać zalecenia. To usprawnia pracę lekarzy i pielęgniarek oraz komunikację z pacjentem, który za pomocą mobilnej aplikacji na bieżąco jest informowany o postępie leczenia – tłumaczy Beata Góralska, koordynator zespołu i jednocześnie administrator projektu w Szpitalach Pomorskich. Leczenie na odległość nie zwalnia jednak pacjenta z ewentualnej wizyty w placówce medycznej, jeśli zajdzie taka konieczność. System iWound jest testowany od października w Szpitalu Morskim im. PCK w Gdyni na oddziałach: chirurgii onkologicznej, ginekologii onkologicznej, radioterapii, chorób wewnętrznych i leczenia schorzeń endokrynologicznych, anestezjologii i intensywnej terapii. Dzięki tej aplikacji objęto opieką już kilkudziesięciu pacjentów.
