Kaszubi w Kanadzie otrzymali kopię cudownej figurki z Sianowa
Nasza wiara była, jest i będzie tutaj – mówili wczoraj podczas uroczystości w sanktuarium w Sianowie Kaszubi z Kanady, którzy otrzymali kopię cudownej figurki Matki Bożej Królowej Kaszub. Dar ma stanąć w kościele w Wilnie – centralnej miejscowości na Kaszubach Kanadyjskich.
– To dla nas wielkie wydarzenie mówił – David Shulist.
19-osobowa grupa potomków kaszubskich emigrantów od ponad tygodnia przebywa z wizytą w ojczyźnie. Odwiedzają miejsca swojego pochodzenia, a także biorą udział w wydarzeniach kulturalnych i artystycznych. Wczoraj w Sianowie modlili się podczas kaszubskiej mszy świętej, gdzie otrzymali ufundowaną przez Kaszubów figurkę Matki Bożej Królowej Kaszub. Kopię figury wykonali artyści Sylwia i Czesław Birr z Mściszewic. Do tematu szerzej wrócimy po południu w audycji Na widniku Kaszëbë.
