Jak zostać żeglarzem – dowiedzą się dzieci w programie „Gdynia na fali”
2,5 tysiąca dzieci weźmie udział w tegorocznej edycji żeglarskiego programu „Gdynia na fali”. Jego głównym celem jest edukacja najmłodszych mieszkańców miasta w zakresie żeglarstwa, bezpieczeństwa na plaży i w wodzie oraz pierwszej pomocy.
– Realizowany od trzech lat program ma też uświadamiać możliwości dostępne na wyciągnięcie ręki w nadmorskim mieście – mówi prezydent Gdyni Wojciech Szczurek.
Nowością w tym roku jest udział przedszkolaków. Lekcje dotyczące bezpieczeństwa nad wodą dla nich i dla uczniów kas I-III będą prowadzone w gdyńskiej marinie – mówił Marek Łucyk z Gdyńskiego Centrum Sportu, które jest koordynatorem programu „Gdynia na fali”. Zajęcia będą prowadzić żeglarze i ratownicy WOPR.
