Jak skutecznie chronić nasze dane osobowe?
Nawet 100 mln euro będzie groziło w Unii Europejskiej za nielegalne przetwarzanie danych osobowych. Zmiany przepisów wprowadza Komisja Europejska. Dzisiaj w tej sprawie z pomorskimi samorządowcami spotkał się zastępca Generalnego Inspektora Ochrony Danych Osobowych Andrzej Lewiński.
– Wciąż jednak mało uwagi zwracamy na ochronę naszej prywatności – mówi minister Andrzej Lewiński.
Zmiany przepisów mają ujednolicić prawo we wszystkich krajach Unii i wzmocnić ochronę naszych danych. Określono je jako wszelkie informacje o osobie, naszym życiu prywatnym, zawodowym i publicznym. Może to być wszystko od nazwiska, zdjęcia, adresu e-mail, danych bankowych i postów zamieszczonych na portalach społecznościowych. GIODO w związku z nowymi unijnymi przepisami planuje szeroką akcję edukacyjną. Nowe przepisy unijne mają zmniejszyć biurokrację i wprowadzić wyższe kary finansowe za nielegalne przetwarzanie naszych danych. Każda instytucja będzie zobowiązana do zatrudnienia tak zwanych administratorów bezpieczeństwa informacji. Nowe przepisy w Unii Europejskiej mają być gotowe do końca tego roku.
