Historia Solidarności Walczącej opowiedziana pocztowymi znaczkami
Niezwykła gratka czeka miłośników filatelistyki w Rumi – jutro w Stacji Kultura otwarcie wystawy, która znaczkami opowiada historię konspiracyjnej poczty Solidarności Walczącej z czasów stanu wojennego. Jej autorem jest elblążanin, były opozycjonista Grzegorz Wołoszczak.
– Autorzy znaczków, wzorując się na konspiracyjnych metodach Armii Krajowej doszli do takiego mistrzostwa, że ich znaczki trafiały nawet do oficjalnego obiegu pocztowego – mówi Grzegorz Wołoszczak.
Z kolekcji ponad 2 i pół tysiąca znaczków wybrał te najciekawsze, które drukowano na potrzeby podziemnej poczty Solidarności. Podziemna poczta Solidarności Walczącej działała od pierwszych miesięcy stanu wojennego do połowy 1986 roku. Wystawę wspólnie z panem Grzegorzem organizują Instytut Pamięci Narodowej w Gdańsku, Poczta Polska i Urząd Miasta Rumi. Oficjalne otwarcie jutro o godzinie 18:00 w Stacji Kultura, eksponaty będzie można oglądać do 22 grudnia.
