Gminy z powiatu kartuskiego wdrożą teleopiekę – projekt „Nestor”
Około stu mieszkańców gmin: Stężyca, Sierakowice i Sulęczyno zostanie objętych teleopieką. Powstaną też kluby seniora. Samorząd powiatu kartuskiego pozyskał dofinansowanie na ten cel.
– Teleopieka to całodobowa piecza nad osobami starszymi, chorymi, niepełnosprawnymi – mówi starosta kartuski Janina Kwiecień.
Projekt Nestor znalazł się wśród 28, między które samorząd województwa podzielił 51 mln zł na rozwój usług społecznych na Pomorzu. Wstępną kwalifikację uczestników projektu przeprowadziły Gminne Ośrodki Pomocy Społecznej. – Od lat stawiamy na opiekę nad seniorami – mówi wójt gminy Stężyca Tomasz Brzoskowski. W ramach programu Nestor oprócz wdrożenia teleopieki przewidziano też utworzenie klubów seniora. Mają organizować spotkania, wyjazdy i szkolenia by zapewnić osobom starszym aktywne spędzanie wolnego czasu.
