Gmina Stężyca nagrodzona w prestiżowym konkursie Top Inwestycje Komunalne. Gala odbyła się podczas 10. edycji Europejskiego Kongresu Gospodarczego w Katowicach.
– To nasz wielki sukces – komentuje wójt Stężycy Tomasz Brzoskowski.
W plebiscycie brały udział 4 inwestycje z województwa pomorskiego, ale nagrodę zdobyła tylko Stężyca – za kompleksową rewitalizację terenów zdegradowanych. Powstały m.in ośrodek zdrowia, miasteczko ruchu drogowego, ścieżka rowerowa i edukacyjna, trasa do nordic walking. Do tego scena z amfiteatrem, trakt spacerowy brzegiem Jeziora Raduńskiego Górnego, 20 miejsc cumowniczych i wypożyczalnia sprzętu wodnego, stadion piłkarski, węzeł przesiadkowy i 20 km ścieżek rowerowych. Celem konkursu Portalu Samorządowego jest pokazanie skali regionalnych i lokalnych przedsięwzięć oraz ich prorozwojowego efektu dla gospodarki, regionu i mieszkańców. Oprócz Stężycy o miano Top Inwestycji Komunalnej z Pomorza ubiegały się też: Muzeum Fortyfikacji w Malborku, a także w Gdańsku budowa ekologicznego domu i kładki dla pieszych na Ołowiankę.
