Gmina Puck została partnerem pionierskich badań ekologicznych
Gmina Puck została partnerem projektu WaterPuck – pionierskich badań nad wpływem środków używanych w gospodarstwach rolnych na wody Bałtyku.
– To unikalne przedsięwzięcie w skali kraju, w które zaangażowało się kilka instytucji naukowych – mówi wójt gminy Puck, Tadeusz Puszkarczuk.
Naukowcy skonstruują matematyczny model, który pozwoli obliczyć, ile procent nawozów używanych przez rolników trafia do wód przybrzeżnych Zatoki Puckiej oraz jaki jest ich wpływ na środowisko. Informacji dostarczy 31 gospodarstw z terenu gminy Puck. Projekt WaterPuck dofinansowany przez Narodowe Centrum Badań i Rozwoju wart jest 5 mln 700 tys złotych, gmina Puck dołoży 200 tys. Badania potrwają do 2020 roku.
