Fałszywe pisma o udostępnienie mieszkań uchodźcom wysyłają oszuści – przestrzega przed nimi Ministerstwo Spraw Wewnętrznych.
Do MSW napływają sygnały, że osoby prywatne – zazwyczaj starsze – otrzymują pisma podpisane przez rzekomego dyrektora z Ministerstwa Spraw Wewnętrznych i Administracji. Dotyczą one oddania bądź udostępnienia mieszkań Syryjczykom, którzy będą w przyszłym roku przyjeżdżać do Polski. Pisma te to zwykły wydruk komputerowy. Nie ma na nim żadnej pieczęci, godła i obowiązującego logo Ministerstwa Spraw Wewnętrznych. W oświadczeniu na stronie internetowej MSW podkreśla, że nie prowadzi takich działań. W przypadku otrzymania podobnych pism czy wezwań prosi o zgłoszenie tego faktu na policję.
MSW informuje także, że wszystkie oferty pomocy dla uchodźców zbierane są przez Szefa Urzędu do Spraw Cudzoziemców. Każdy dobrowolnie może wysłać swoją ofertę na uruchomioną w tym celu skrzynkę mailową – pomoc@udsc.gov.pl. Adres ten został uruchomiony zarówno dla osób prywatnych oraz organizacji społecznych.
