Etnofilologia kaszubska ma wrócić na Uniwersytet Gdański
Etnofilologia kaszubska wróci na Wydział Filologiczny Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego. Taki ma być wynik ostatniego spotkania przedstawicieli Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko – Pomorskiego i marszałka województwa z rektorem uczelni.
Likwidację kierunku w tym roku władze Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego tłumaczyły zbyt małą liczbą chętnych. Decyzja spotkała się z ostrą reakcją środowisk kaszubskich, które podnosiły że w naborze na tak ważne kierunki powinny być inne zasady. Podkreślała wiceprezes Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko – Pomorskiego Danuta Pioch, uczestniczka spotkania mającego zaowocować przywróceniem etnofilologii kaszubskiej do oferty gdańskiej uczelni. Dodaje, że duże znaczenie miało poparcie pomorskiego marszałka Mieczysława Struka. Na komentarz władz uczelni jeszcze czekamy. Etnofilologia kaszubska ma być przywrócona do oferty dydaktycznej Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego w przyszłym roku.
