Dziś w nocy rozpoczną się Światowe Dni Młodzieży w Panamie
Dziś w nocy czasu środkowoeuropejskiego rozpoczną się Światowe Dni Młodzieży w Panamie w Ameryce Środkowej. Zainaugurowane zostaną Mszą Św. odprawioną przez panamskich biskupów. Papież Franciszek dołączy do młodzieży w środę.
Pierwsze nabożeństwo odprawi w czwartek około 23:30 czasu polskiego. Jedynym reprezentantem Kaszub na ŚDM jest pielgrzymka z parafii Chwaszczyno. Światowe Dni Młodzieży zostały zainicjowane w Rzymie w 1985 roku przez Św. Jana Pawła II. Zrzeszają miliony młodych katolików – i nie tylko – z całego świata. Centralne obchody odbywają się co 2-3 lata. Dotychczas odbyło się 14 ogólnoświatowych zjazdów, z czego dwa przeprowadzono w Polsce – w 1991 roku w Częstochowie, oraz w 2016 w Krakowie.
