Dzień Jakuba w Wejherowie – 30 maja
Tegoroczne święto upamiętniające osobę założyciela miasta Wejherowa rozpocznie się 30 maja o godzinie 19.00 na placu Jakuba Wejhera.
W 10 minut po oficjalnym rozpoczęciu imprezy swój koncert da Tosia Czoska z zespołem, którzy w swoim repertuarze idą w stronę muzyki pop łączonej z alternatywną. Dalej nastąpi uroczyste odegranie hejnału Wejherowa przez trębaczy zaś po nim część oficjalna. Po tradycyjnym wręczeniu nagród Prezydenta Miasta przez prezydenta Krzysztofa Hildebrandta wystąpi zespół Bubliczki oferując nam niezwykłe połączenie muzyki folkowej z inspiracjami zaczerpniętymi z Półwyspu Bałkańskiego. Gwiazdą wieczoru, a zarazem gościem urodzinowym będzie Kayah z zespołem, która uraczy Wejherowian największymi piosenkami ze swojego bogatego repertuaru.
Po koncercie piosenkarki wszyscy goście zostaną poproszeni o przemieszczenie się na polanę przy amfiteatrze, gdzie odbędzie się niezwykły pokaz sztucznych ogni.
Oprócz wspomnianych atrakcji w skład tegorocznych obchodów Dnia Jakuba wejdą zabawy rekreacyjne dla dzieci, oferta gastronomiczna, balony, popcorn, wata cukrowa i inne.
