Dbajmy o bezpieczeństwo i pilnujmy swojego mienia latem – apeluje policja. W ostatnim czasie w powiecie kościerskim pod nieobecność właścicieli okradziono dom na prawie 200 tysięcy złotych.
– Sprawdźmy czy wszystkie okna i drzwi są zamknięte a przede wszystkim poprośmy o pomoc sąsiadów – mówi rzecznik kościerskiej policji Piotr Kwidziński.
Według statystyk policji lato to czas, kiedy szczególnie uaktywniają się złodzieje. Wykorzystują nasze rozluźnienie podczas zwiedzania czy wypoczywania na plaży. Do tego obserwują posesje, w których właściciele wyjeżdżają na wakacje. Dlatego policja apeluje o szczególną ostrożność. Podczas zwiedzania czy letnich zakupów cenne rzeczy zawsze powinniśmy trzymać w zamkniętej torebce, a kiedy jesteśmy na plaży nie pozostawiać swoich rzeczy bez opieki. Kiedy wyjeżdżamy na dłuższy czas zabezpieczmy też dom. Policja apeluje również do osób starszych, które często stają się ofiarą przestępstw „na wnuczka”. W ostatnim miesiącu w powiecie kościerskim doszło do dwóch takich prób wyłudzenia pieniędzy, a jedna z pań straciła prawie 20 tysięcy złotych. Do podobnych zdarzeń w ostatnim czasie dochodziło też w powiatach sąsiednich. Kościerscy policjanci pracują nad zatrzymaniem sprawców.
